A Love Letter To Summer Forever

A Love Letter To Summer Forever

A Love Letter To Summer Forever

There are some seasons we move through without thinking about them. And then there are the ones we wish we could keep forever.

Summer Forever was always about the latter.

It began with a simple idea: that summer is more than a season. It is a collection of moments, places, feelings, and memories that somehow stay with us long after the days begin to change.

The warmth of the sun through an open window. Afternoons that somehow turn into evenings. The sound of the sea in the distance. A table shared with people you love. A favorite drink somewhere you have never been before. The feeling of having nowhere else you need to be.

Those were the moments behind Summer Forever.

More Than a Summer Collection

When we created Summer Forever, we never wanted it to feel like a collection defined only by a season.

Each design was its own little memory.

Some were inspired by the coast and the endless movement of the sea. Others by Italian afternoons, gelato, sunlit gardens, classic patterns, golden light, and evenings that deserved to last a little longer.

Some designs were inspired by the coast and the endless movement of the sea. Others by long afternoons somewhere far away, sunlit gardens, fresh fruit, cold drinks, golden light, and those spontaneous moments that somehow become the ones we remember most.

Each one captured a different feeling, a different place, a different version of summer.

Together, they became Summer Forever.

Not one destination. Not one memory. Not one version of summer.

Just a collection of everything we never wanted to leave behind.

The Things We Carry With Us

At By Matthew, we have always believed that the things we carry every day can mean more than what they were made for.

A design can remind you of somewhere you've been.

A color can bring back a particular afternoon.

A pattern can somehow feel like you before you even know why.

That idea became especially important with Summer Forever.

The collection was created around memories, but somewhere along the way, it became part of new ones too.

Cases traveled. They appeared in mirrors, on café tables, beside beach towels, inside bags packed for somewhere new, and in the ordinary moments between everything else.

And perhaps that is what Summer Forever was really about.

Not preserving summer exactly as it was, but carrying a little of its feeling into whatever comes next.

One Last Golden Hour

Eventually, even the longest days begin to get shorter.

The evenings arrive a little earlier. The light changes. The air feels different. The places that defined the past few months slowly become memories themselves.

There is something beautiful about that.

We could wish for summer to stay exactly as it is, but perhaps part of what makes it special is knowing that it cannot.

Every season gets its moment.

Every chapter eventually reaches its final page.

And every ending leaves something behind.

Summer Forever leaves behind the colors, the stories, the places, and all those little moments that made it what it was.

But most of all, it leaves behind the feeling.

Thank You for Spending Summer With Us

To everyone who discovered By Matthew through Summer Forever, chose a design that felt like them, shared the collection, carried one of our cases somewhere special, or simply spent a little time in this world we created — thank you.

You became part of the story.

Summer Forever may have started with our memories and inspirations, but it was never meant to belong only to us. The moment you chose something from the collection, it became part of yours too.

And that is exactly how we hoped it would be.

Because the best things we create should eventually become something personal.

Something lived with.

Something remembered.

Until Next Summer

So this is our goodbye to Summer Forever.

Not a sad one.

More like leaving the beach after sunset, looking back one last time, and knowing you'll find your way there again someday.

The season changes.

The stories continue.

And somewhere between everything we're leaving behind and everything still ahead, a new chapter is already beginning.

For now, we'll keep the memories.

The golden afternoons. The endless evenings. The spontaneous plans. The places we fell in love with. The things we carried with us.

Summer doesn't have to last forever for its memories to.

And maybe that was the meaning of Summer Forever all along.

Thank you for spending a little piece of your summer with us.

Until next summer.
